Layers of noodles, cheese, and handmade meat sauce define the spaghetti dish known as Million Dollar Spaghetti. This is a supper the whole family will enjoy, affordable, simple to prepare.
One (eight-ounce) box of spaghetti
1 pound lean ground beef
One sixteen ounces container of spaghetti sauce
½ cup butter, cut and split
One eight-ounce jar of cottage cheese
One (eight-ounce) package cream cheese, softened ¼ cup sour cream
One (eight ounce) packet shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Making Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole:
Set the oven for 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Bring a big saucepan of barely salted water boiling. About 12 minutes, boil spaghetti in water until cooked through still firm to the biting. drainage
Set a big skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir meat in the heated pan until browned and crumbly, five to seven minutes; drain and discard oil. Spoon into a bowl and stir with spaghetti sauce.
Arrange half of the butter slices across the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish. Arrange half of the spaghetti in the dish.
In a bowl, combine sour cream, cream cheese, and cottage cheese; spread mixture over spaghetti. Top with last pieces of butter and cover with remaining spaghetti.
Over pasta, pour ground beef mixture in an evenly layer.
Put in the preheated oven for thirty minutes. Top with shredded Cheddar cheese; bake until cheese melts and is just little browned, approximately 15 minutes longer.
