Skinny Meatloaf

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup mustard
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 pound lean ground beef (96%) or tenderloin
  • Half a loaf of whole wheat bread, sliced or without crust
  • 1 cup chopped Vidalia onion
  • 3 large egg whites
  • A pinch of salt flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ⅓ cup dipping sauce
  • ¼ cup yellow mustard
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce

Directions for Cooking:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spray a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, shredded bread, onion, egg whites, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the ground beef mixture and mix thoroughly using your hands.
  6. Shape the mixture into a loaf and transfer it to the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until fully cooked.
  8. Once done, remove from the oven, place on a cooling rack, and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  9. Slice into five equal pieces, serve on a platter, and enjoy!
